Who We Are
Your feet are not only the foundation on which you stand, but get you where you need to go
They help you balance, walk, run, jump, dance, and stand on tip toes. Your feet are critical to doing all the fun things you want to do in life. So when something goes wrong with your feet, it’s important to get the problem addressed right away. Remember, foot pain is NOT normal and you do not have to live with it. At Balanced Rock Foot & Ankle, we understand the stress you place on your feet each and every day. A foot problem, even a seemingly small one, can impact your life. Dr. Troy Griffiths and Dr. Douglas Goforth use more than 20 years of experience to design a treatment plan specifically for you and your feet. Each foot has 28 bones, 33 joints and 107 ligaments; and with a proper treatment plan, we can maximize your body’s foundation to improve your quality of life. Whether it’s mechanical control with orthotics, reconstructive foot and/or ankle surgery or treating minor problems such as toenail troubles, Dr. Griffiths and Dr. Goforth believe that if your feet are happy, you are happy.

“I am excited to join the Balanced Rock Foot & Ankle team at Family Health West. As a board
certified podiatrist I am experienced in treating disorders of the lower leg, foot, and ankle. The thing I like best about my job is getting to know my patients and patient education. It is extremely rewarding to work collaboratively with my patients and create a personal treatment plan together. I feel strongly that through patient education and detailed discussion of treatment options, outcomes are consistently enhanced. Needless to say, I am not a fan of a one size fits all approach to care, and I look forward to discussing how I can improve your foot & ankle pain.”
